Pest Plants and Animals

The Mallee CMA is currently facilitating the development of a Mallee Invasive Plants and Animals Strategy in partnership with regional stakeholders and community.

The strategy is expected to be finalised early in 2010 and will provide a 5 year framework for public investment in managing threats from invasive plants and animals across the Mallee region.

The Mallee CMA is also coordinating regional input into a statewide review of the noxious weed list in Victoria, the first such review since 1974.  Further information on the review is available from the Department of Primary Industries website.
