The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) based at Mildura employs nearly 50 staff, two thirds in science-related roles with the remaining staff in management and corporate support roles.

There are a range of career streams including:

Coporate Services

Accountants,Payroll, General Finance, Administration/Reception, Information Services

Community and Program Support

Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Indigenous Facilitators, Communications,Geographical Information Systems, Community Capacity building,Education and Investor management.

Enviornmental Programs (Science and Technical)

Rivers and Wetlands (River health, enviornmental flows) Regional Sustainability(Salinity, Irrigation),Land and Biodiversity (Dryland Agriculture, Pest/Plants) and Landcare

All environmental programs have Program Managers and a number of project officers with a variety of scientific and technical skills.
