Funding

The Mallee Catchment Management Authority attracts the majority of funding to the region through the Regional Catchment Investment Plan--an integrated regional funding bid that is considered by Australian and Victorian government investors.

Funding bodies involved in this process are:

• National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality (NAP)
• Natural Heritage Trust (NHT)
• Victorian Government (Department of Sustainability and Environment).

Other funding sources include:

• Murray-Darling Basin Commission (The Living Murray)
