Have you seen a Carpet Python recently?
The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) is seeking the help of the community to determine an accurate distribution of the Inland Carpet Python across the Mallee region.
The Inland Carpet Python is a protected species in Victoria, and is most commonly found in both River Red Gum areas and Mallee shrublands across northern Victoria.
The Mallee CMA is interested in both recent and past sightings of the Inland Carpet Python to help target future work with threatened species.
